LEED

LEED is a building certification system  developed by the USGBC ( United States Green Building Council). Founded in 1993 with a mantra based on the triple bottom line of “People, Planet and Profit”, the USGBC aimed to transform the built environment to promote human health , minimize environmental impact, and reduce operational costs. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system now has over 100,000 projects registered or certified , in over 167 countries around the world. Regeneros team have been LEED Accredited for over 10 years and are Faculty Members of the USGBC. 
The latest programme, LEED Zero , is aimed at Net Zero Buildings, and covers not only Net Zero Energy but also Zero Waste and Water. The LEED framework and rating system has versions tailored to reflect the individual business needs of over 21 business types including retail, warehouses , education and healthcare as well as new construction and existing office space , with requirements specific to each of these market segments . It is highly scalable and can be applied to residences as well as to communities, cities and regions.
